Commercial real …
Commercial real estate in New Jersey is building it is insane. Building scores of warehouses still, at one two million square feet. Most of them have for lease or sale signs on them. One applicant is at our township planning board for approval of 4 million square feet of buildings. Perhaps we are going to open the flood gates on immigration to sell off the millions of surplus McMansions. Warehousing maybe needed for hundreds of new Walmarts. Developers are spending somebodies money in 2009.

The imminent …
The imminent commercial real estate collapse will put the entire speculative real estate business in doubt, hopefully forever. The only reason for real estate investment beyond what is necessary for actual use by those who invest is to make a profit from increasing values. In real estate the only value that increases is land value since buildings do not appreciate. Speculative increases in land values always end in a bust about every 18 years triggering a general downturn. Thumbs down on it all.

My opinion about …
My opinion about the KFC thing is that there was no market for it,but now that the economy has been hit so hard it makes perfect sense to re-establish it because chicken is cheap and people will still want to find cooked food to buy, just my opinion, also demolitions occur for numbers of reasons too,not just the obvious reasons, coding, profit margins, upkeep, etc.good comment…

beans, bullets, band aids,,,find a place to stash your food if you wanna keep eating,,it’s never too late to start…my kids are getting 20# sacks of rice for christmas…..good luck all

There are empty …
There are empty stores and offices everywhere in my town. Recently announced, Big Y will close down their store in my town. Big Y is a supermarket chain. Even food stores are feeling it, and people have to eat. What may be happening there is an increase in sales of rice and beans. More closings to come, I’m sure of it. Gerald Celente gets it right. Funny thing, though. They just recently demolished the KFC near me, and they’re building it again.
