What are the steps in selling a house in NJ without a realestate agent for the seller?

Did you get an independent appraisal of your home? That would be the first step; get 2 appraisals to know if you’re getting a fair price.

you need to fill out and sign a purchase contract, and then go from there. look, i know you think your really smart and your gonna make a lot more money by selling it yourself, but thats not the wisest descision unless you are an experienced r.e. investor (obviously you are not). get a real estate agent and stop being so cheap. they’ll get it done quicker, no headache, and probaly get u top price since the more they sell it for the more they make, and they have alot more contacts then you. i see alot of people like you try and do it themselves and they usually wind up getting nothing more out of it except a loss of time.
